Made in Germany, this carbon fiberviolin by Mezzo-Forte is designed and produced using state-of-the-art-technology. This futuristic vision produces a quality of sound easily comparable to that of a wooden instrument while offering a far greater presence, projection and ease of playing.

With the standard Carbon Fiber Violin “Design Line”, Mezzo-Forte has already established a very high quality standard. This “premium line” violin takes things one or two steps further!One of these instruments was honored with the German Musical Instruments Award in 2015, beating off 22 wooden masterpieces in this competition.

Violin Specifications:

Body: Two piece, layered carbon fiber. Strengthened at upper and lower blocks. 2 component lacquer.
Fingerboard: Spruce fiber composite (injection moulded).Dark and hard like ebony. Smooth to the touch and perfectly shaped – and helping preserve natural resources. The decisive feature being the fingerboard will not warp – thus making it ideal for use with carbon fiber.
Sound Post: “Anima Nova” carbon fiber sound-post, which always fits perfectly, and allows adjustment of tension within the instrument.

Bass Bar: Carbon and bonded to the instrument.It gives warmth to the lower strings and helpsstabilizethe top.
