About Jargar Strings:
Around 1950, Danish cellist Jarl Hansenwanted more from his cello than gut stringscould provide. As a member of the RoyalDanish Opera Orchestra he becameincreasingly interested in string quality andsound, and for years he experimented in hisspare time – until 1956, when he was readyto start his own company, Jargar Strings.
